Details: Shot by the IRA as he rode his motorcycle to work at a local cement plant. Passers by who came across his body lying beside his motorcycle at first thought he had been involved in an accident. He had a total of 33 years service in the B Specials, UDR and RUC. (RUCR when killed). Left the Regiment in 1974 - 32nd ex UDR soldier to be killed. |
