Details:   Shot by an IRA gunman who called at his farmhouse just outside Keady. His daughter answered a knock at the door and a man asked, 'Is Joe in?' Joe was shot five times in the chest at point blank range. He was the fourth person killed in South Armagh in one week. 49th UDR soldier to be killed. |
