Details:   One of eight workmen killed in a landmine explosion. The IRA attacked a van which was carrying workers employed by Karl Construction, they were carrying out work in an army base in Omagh. They were returning home from the base when the attack took place at the Teebane Crossroads, near Cookstown. |
