Details:   Fatally injured by an IRA booby trap planted under his Dept of Environment van. The device exploded not far from his home as his wife and his baby daughter waved goodbye. He died three hours later in hospital. Private Norman McKinley, best man at his wedding, bridesmaid Private Heather Kerrigan and guest Private Greg Elliott were killed by terrorists in the same year. 140th UDR soldier to be killed. |
