Details:   Ambushed and shot by the IRA as he drove his cement mixer. Three gunmen threw a grenade at the lorry before firing 30 shots from a field overlooking the road. He was the third employee in the firm he worked for to be killed by the IRA. 183rd UDR soldier to be killed. |
