Details:   Shot by the IRA at a cattle market in Co Monaghan. He had just bought cattle when he was shot four times in the head and back at point blank range. His brother in law, Jack Donnelly, a serving UDR soldier was killed by INLA ten months later. Left the Regiment in 1979 - 23rd ex UDR soldier to be killed. |
