Details: Shot by the IRA as he worked on a Housing Executive house. He had been working at the site for just two days. The IRA later issued a statement saying he would not have been at risk if they had been informed of his retirement from the UDR. His wife was expecting their first child. Left the Regiment in 1981 - 30th ex UDR soldier to be killed. |
