Details:   Part Time employed on Full Time Duties. Shot by the IRA as he sat in his car with his fiancee. The gunmen shot him 13 times and his fiancee, who was not injured ran after them as they fled. Colin had previous service with The Royal Irish Rangers and had got engaged just two weeks earlier. His elderly widowed mother and his fiancee suffered years of taunting by local Republican sympathisers. 188th UDR soldier to be killed. |
