Details:   Killed by an IRA booby trap bomb left in the car. A woman left the car at the garage for Albert to work on and the device exploded later when he put the car in gear. He had survived an attempt on his life in 1988 and had joined the Regiment on its formation. 189th UDR soldier to be killed. |
