Details:   Killed by an IRA bomb placed under his car. It exploded as he left a telephone exchange with two work colleagues who were also in the TA. They were seriously injured. In a statement after Trevor's death the IRA admitted the killing and said 'The IRA sees no distinction between members of the RUC, British Army, UDR or Territorial Army. All are enemies of the Irish people'. 4th TA soldier to be killed. |
